I have an IQ Panel 2 with DSC Power G sensors. How can I tell if Power G is actually being used?
Power G sensors only transmit via Power G wireless protocol. If you have an IQ Panel 2+ and Power G sensors are learned into the panel, they are transmitting via Power G wireless.
If you are looking to test your sensors to ensure they are functional, the best way to do so is through setting your monitoring on test mode with the Central station (if applicable), arming your system, and tripping an alarm with each zone.
You can place your monitoring account on test mode through your System Manager. Go to your account dashboard on suretyhome.com (click on your account link at the top) then click System Manager.
