I bought the Qolsys IQ Panel 2+ from the Surety store, was it supposed to include a backup battery? If not, do you know where I can buy one, as I do not see one available in the store? My panel has been plugged in for several days now and it says there’s no battery. The panel works fine plugged in but if I lose power or it gets unplugged by accident the panel is turned completely off.
The battery should be in the back of the panel, I would check to make sure it’s connected, it was probably shipped disconnected, that could be why it says no battery , I’m pretty sure all qolsys panels are sold and shipped with a backup battery , but I could be wrong

This is correct, if pre-programmed the panel is shipped with battery unplugged. You’ll want to open the back plate and plug in the battery pack connector (bottom left corner if looking at the screen)
