Last night we woke up in the middle of the night with our gc3 rebooting.
Any idea on what could have caused that. It was armed stay when this happened.
All is normal now just odd.
Do you recall what time this occurred? I don’t see anything in history but a more precise time would help.
Is it possible that you lost power or had a brief outage?
I think around 3 am. No power outage and it has a backup battery.
I saw you can now remotely reboot the panel from the web browser. Could there have been anyway for a random signal from alarm.com to have done that?
No as it is registered in Alarm.com, commands sent through Alarm.com are visible in dealer history. In this case, there is nothing in history to suggest that anything happened. There are no commands sent to your panel other than standard modem pings last night, no commands are reported between arming and disarming the panel in this case.
Did you see the panel reboot, hear the panel announce status, or both?
My wife was woken up by the light from the panel. And I saw it in the man boot up screen with the horizontal status bar. Then it went back to normal in stay mode.
I have the speaker unplugged due to not being able to turn off all sounds in the settings.
