This was announced at CES in January for availability this month. Has anyone heard an update since the original announcement?
According to Alarm.com, the spring release projection appears to be a bit premature. While no specific ETA has been given, it would seem that this is looking to be a Fall 2018 release.
Thanks Tyler. Any chance they are working on an integration with Nest thermostats? If not, which of the current choices provides the best functionality?
NEST thermostat integration is available through Alarm.com. Alarm.com Features available With Nest Integration include:
– Current target temperature control
– Current mode control (Heat, Cool)
– Temperature notifications
Note that NEST integration through suretyDIY is only available with the Gold Interactive plan.
There are a variety of thermostats compatible with Alarm.com and use would be dependent on panel compatibility. Currently, the ADC-T2000 would have the most functionality through Alarm.com.
Is there still no update on this?
We have not yet heard a release date or update yet, but we will double check with Alarm.com today.
any update? I am about to buy two thermostats and would hate to buy something and then next week the newest version becomes available! LOL!
There is not an ETA on availability regarding the new “ADC T3000 Smarter thermostat” at this time.
Just checking to see if anything has changed regarding a release date
There is no ETA yet unfortunately. Something is apparently slowing development. Unfortunately there are no details at this time.
Interesting seems to have hit the FCC site back in September with the manual posted. https://fccid.io/2AC3T-B36T20RA/User-Manual/User-Manual-3994539
Yep, the product exists and is in development and testing, but there are no details as to any official release date. We hope to be able to provide an ETA soon!
