Currently have the GC2 and a (Grandfathered/Obsolete) CT100 Thermostat. What options are available for Monitoring Humidity inside the home? Are there options for controlling the humidity in the home? If so will it require any additional services from Surety?
Humidity Monitoring and Control require the ADC-T2000. While Humidity display will work on all ADC-T2000’s version 1.5 is required for control. Any new T2000 will have appropriate firmware, just be sure to check if you buy used.
There are two control options:
You can dehumidify-only if you just have an Air conditioner, setting a max humidity level.
You can also connect a humidifier/dehumidifier to the Z terminal on the thermostat and configure minimum/maximum humidity setpoints.
