How to use 18/4 wire with GoControl panel

I am replacing an old system with a new Go Control panel. I’d like to reuse the power wire since it’s already run through the wall but it appears to be 18/4. How would I wire the panel using this wire type?

Thanks!

Use the red wire for 14VDC(+) and the black wire for 14VDC(-) on both ends of the cable. See page 15 of the installation manual for more details.

There are 4 wires, black, red, blue and yellow.

You don’t have to use them all. Just use the red and black.

Ok. What do I do with those that I don’t use? Just tape them off? Same for the end with the transformer? Thanks for the help, my DIY skills are limited!

Taping them off would be fine. Yes, same at both ends.

Snip them off with scissors. Be sure to observe polarity when wiring terminal block and transformer

Im looking for the installation guide for the Go Control Panel Model:2GIG-GCX. When I click the link above it says the page can not be found. Does anyone know where the installation guide for this panel can be found?

Installation manuals can be found on the product pages on suretyDIY. Here’s an updated link.
