I have a GC2 panel and the Surety Home Plan. I am wanting to get a video doorbell and would prefer one that can integrate. Can the video from the GC-DBC-1 integrate with this at all? What about ring events?
Ah. I just looked and my account has changed from DIY Alarm.com Gold Interactive Monitored to the Surety Home Plan. I wasn’t aware that anything changed with my account until I logged in and saw this. I see no mention of any video included in the Surety Home Plan. Is that accurate?
I saw on the site that it appears the Slimline Video Doorbell will work. It says “Requires Alarm.com Doorbell Video Add-On or Alarm.com Cloud Video Service.” How does one add this to the Surety Home plan?
The only video doorbells that are currently compatible are the Skybell HD and the Skybell Slimline.
Video doorbells require either cloud Video service or if it is going to be the only camera you can do the doorbell only video upgrade.
Both add ons can be purchased by navigating to your System Manager page.
