I recently had a false alarm trigger due to my garage entry door sensor but when I checked, the door was closed. What would be the cause of this and how can it be resolved?

If the door did not open and the you believe that the sensor reported incorrectly, you will want to check to make sure the sensor is aligned properly with the magnet and confirm that the sensor is mounted properly. You can take a picture of the sensor and post it here if you would like.

How old is the sensor in question? Have the batteries ever been changed?
