Is it better to update firmware over the air or by using a cable??
A benefit of doing it with the update cable is that I have seen several 2GIG panels bricked during OTA updates if power is interrupted during the update process. Using the update cable seems to be more reliable because it’s easier to control the environment. Just make sure to plug the cable into the panel facing the correct way and don’t let power go out during the update.
