Has anyone had success in pairing a ceiling fan control switch with their IQ2+ pannel? While I’m able to add the GE 14287 to the panel it’s detected as a LIGHT and immediately shows (malfunction) if I try to ON/OFF or move the slider.

Typically fan switches use the same command classes as light switches and are functionally the same. Switches will in general just be viewed as lights by the control software. This doesn’t necessarily imply any issue.
Have you tried running a Network Rediscovery? It may also be good to reboot the panel to run a fresh instance of the Z-wave software.
