My driveway camera keeps recording over and over it’s sending me video after video after video and it won’t turn off
I cannot see the actual VMD windows, but I do see that they were edited a few days before this issue took place for this camera. This will be the primary thing to look at to resolve the issue in the future of excessive recordings.
All the recordings were VMD related. One thing to keep in mind when setting VMD windows: try to always use long narrow windows with a relatively high target size. This will best filter out nuisance recordings. To think of it another way, VMD windows should be set up as sort of “tripwires”
Using a large VMD window, especially with outdoor cameras, will often create scenarios where environmental effects will cause endless false recordings: blowing leaves, shadows, lighting changes, rain/snow, car headlights, etc.
