The backlight on the LCD of my GC2 alarm panel has failed. I didn’t fully disassembly the alarm panel, but I noticed the LCD is connected to logic board via a ribbon cable. Anyone ever attempt swapping the LCD from a donor panel?
No, I would typically not recommend this type of resolution as the individual components are not available for sale, and if you purchase a replacement panel it would be better to just use that panel.

Z-wave devices and any 900mhz devices like the TS1, Go!Bridge, and Image Sensor would need to be manually relearned.
Do you sell 2gig panels anymore? Don’t see GC2 or GC3 for sale on your website.

eBay has a number of parts only 2gig panels for cheap - I might snag one and see if I can swap the LCD.
