I bought the Qolsys Panel with 6 month free trial. Is there any way I can add camera monitoring and just pay for that during the trial, or will I lose the trial period and have to pay the full cost? I have three cameras from when I was using Frontpoint that I’d like to continue monitoring my home with, and right now can’t even figure out how to link them to my account, or if it’s even possible to link them until I add the cloud video service.
As long as the cameras are Alarm.com compatible, they can be utilized.
You can purchase the Alarm.com Cloud Video add on via your Surety Account dashboard (Subscriptions -> Add Cloud Video) Cloud Video Level 1 is an additional $5.00 per month plus any applicable tax. This can be added to accounts currently utilizing the six month trial.
Cameras can not be linked until Cloud Video add on has been enabled. IF the cameras are still registered to a previous Alarm.com account, they would need to be unregistered first, prior to associating them with your current Alarm.com account.
