Is it possible to only get notifications when the doorbell is pressed and not when motion occurs but still have the camera record with motion? I want to be able to look back and review my doorbell motion with out being notified every time the wind picks up. I have toyed with setting but haven’t figured it out.
Yes, you can log into Alarm.com and set the Motion Recording schedule to have no notification recipients and leave it active.
Log into the Alarm.com website and navigate to Video > Recording Schedules.
I have that setup and still get notifications. I’m going to delete all my current video related rules and start from scratch.
Thanks for confirming that it can be done. Probably something messed up with how I have my rules configured.
