I have a 3g modem. I need to purchase an LTE modem, but it needs firmware 1.19 or newer to work. I am on firmware 1.12.
I’m reading the pdf on how to manually update the 2gig panel using the tool. It says: To use the Firmware
Update Tool, your Control Panel must have at least version 1.5 or newer.
What is my other option then if I can’t use the tool to update the firmware since my firmware seems to be too old?
The naming convention is not the best imo. To clarify, Firmware version 1.12 is newer than version 1.5. For example, version “1.5 < 1.12 < 1.19.”
If your panel is currently at 1.12 you can use the firmware update cable to update to 1.19. This video here has more info on how to update your 2GIG Go!Control panel firmware.

I’ll go ahead, order the firmware cable and modem from you guys then it looks like.
