If two windows are next to each other, can you use a single sensor in the middle with a magnet on each side or do you need two sensors?

What type of sensors are they? All window sensors I’m thinking of offhand would require one for each window.
I was looking at either the 2GIG Thin Door/Window Contact (2GIG-DW10-345) or the Resolution Products Door/Window (RE201). They sell additional magnets for the RE201 but it is not clear if the magnets only work on one side of the sensor.

Both of those sensor would require one of each per window. There is one side with which the magnet works. Often, besides replacing missing originals, the extra magnets are used on second story+ windows where one wants to be able to arm the system in the summer with the windows closed, or partially open for air flow. You can place a second magnet in the desired location for that option.
The reed switch that gets affected by the magnet is only on 1 side of the sensor.
The only way to monitor more windows with 1 wireless sensor would be to use additional wired sensors and connect them to the wired inputs on the 2GIG-DW10-345 or RE201. The 2GIG-DW10-345 has 1 wired sensor input so you could use the reed switch to monitor 1 window and the wired input with a wired window contact to monitor the other. The RE201 has 2 wired inputs so you could monitor 3 windows with it, 1 with the built-in reed switch and the other 2 with wired window contacts and the 2 wired sensor inputs. You would have a visible wire going from one window to the other.
Thanks for the replies. Based on this particular install, multiple wireless sensores will be the best option. Good to know the wired sensor is an option on both models.
It would be nice if in the future they made a single sensor that could handle two windows.
